Elizabeth SHEARER CULVER was the widow of Orrin CULVER, who was born 2 Apr 1820 in southern Ohio, died 12 Dec 1843 in Cincinnati. They were married 20 Dec 1841 in Hamilton Co., Ohio. They had one son, Alonzo CULVER, b 4 Oct 1842 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio. Elizabeth SHEARER, born 27 Jul 1817 in Batavia, Clermont County, Ohio, was the daughter of Ludwick SHEARER, Jr and Maria Catherine APPLE.

I would like to know where Adam and Elizabeth FARMER lived in Darke County, and where they moved in Indiana.

Looking for ancestors of Samuel GOOD (b. 1840) m. Margaret GEBHARDT(GEBHART/GEBHARD, etc.)(b. 1842). In the 1880 Darke Co., OH census they had children Almeda (b.1865), Ellie (b. 1869), Jennie (b. 1871) and Noah (b. 1873). Samuel and Margaret were both born in OH and I'm guestimating were married 1858 to 1864. Margaret GEBHARDT GOOD (1842-1905) is buried in Oak Grove or Ft. Jefferson Cemetery, Darke Co., OH

I am looking for information on a Barzilla CLARK. He moved from Warren Co., Ohio, to Darke Co. in approx 1835. He married a Mary DAVIS (b. Sept 1, 1780 d. I do have information on these four, Daniel T., Samuel H., Eli Hale, and Asa W. Need info on John Winslow, Hannah Bethiah, Mary Mariah, and Jonathan Gray Davis. I am seeking information about my great-grandparents who lived in Arcanum, Darke County, Ohio. My great-grandfather was William Riley LOWDER (1852-1924) and my great-grandmother was Lovinia (STAUFFER) LOWDER (1850?-1930). Lovinia was the daughter of David STAUFFER (died 1918). Both William Riley LOWDER and his wife are buried in the Abbottsville Cemetery in Darke County. The LOWDERs were Brethren Dunkards.

My Grandmother, Sarah Edith LOWDER, was born in Beamsville, Darke County, on 26 March 1883, and she was married to my Grandfather Joseph Karl WERTZ, on 16 June 1907 in Arcanum, Darke County, Ohio.

As to a document I have from Charles William MARKER, from 1903, this MARKER family moved to Montgomery Co., OH in 1823 and Jacob and Sarah (SHIVELY/SHELERY) MARKER later moved to Darke Co., OH in 1835. I am seeking genealogical information on the family of William Riley LOWDER who died in Arcanum, Darke county, Ohio, on 29 January 1924. He was buried in Abbotsville cemetery in Arcanum. William R. LOWDER's wife was Lovina (STAUFFER) who died on 6 December 1930 in Harrison, Ohio. She is also buried in the Abbotsville cemetery in Arcanum.
