I am looking for TROUTWINEs in Pitsburg and Arcanum. Most are buried at Mote Cemetery or Abbottsville Cemetery. I know Jacob (b. 12-28-1821) and Christina (b. 9-23-1827) TROUTWINE had a daughter Susannnah (b.1862), who married a David BAKER (b. 10-17-1859). I am looking for information on brothers and sisters of Susannah and their descendents.

My gg-grandfather was William SLICK. He was born about 1833. I believe his parents to be Isaac and Jemina SLICK who were listed in the Darke County, OH, 1850 census. They lived in Bedford, PA, until moving to Darke County, OH, in the 1840's. By 1860 they had moved to IL. Anyone with info. on SLICK family originating in PA and then migrating to OH?

Anthony CUMMINS lived in Darke Co., Ohio, according to the 1870 census. His wife's name was Rachael and living with them was a son Valentine. He also had sons John, George, and William. Anyone have any info. on them.

My Thomas BRADFORD died in the 1870's. He was living in Shelby Co., Ohio. I found no death certificate. I now found that he had relatives living in Darke Co. around the same time. Does anyone have access to the death records of the 1870's of Darke Co. His other relative was Anthony CUMMINS. Would also like to know if he is listed in the death records.

I am searching for my SNELL family roots. I understand my ancesters migrated to Darke Co. according to a census they lived in Washington Twp. near the county seat back in 1850. The names I am looking for are as follows: Henry SNELL my ggggrandfather. His son Jacob SNELL & his son Perry SNELL. Perry is my ggrandfather They all were born in Westmorland PA & migrated to Darke Co., Ohio. This is all I have on them, except for Perry & his wife & family. Perry married Sarah (SIMMONS) SNELL. They had 9 children, one of which was my Grandmother (Maud Jane (SNELL) SMITH. Her Husband was Clarence Alvin SMITH). Grandmother was born in Warren Co., Ohio (Town- Lytle). I do not know for sure how long they, the SNELLs, lived in Darke Co. I just know Henry showed up on the 1850 Census. Can any one there Give me any clues on these families? Amonson-Mansin CLARK b. poss. 20 Jan 1813 in ? county PA., and wife, Julia --?-- (surname unknown as of yet) b. abt. 1820 ? county, OH., approx. marriage year is 1837 in Butler Co., OH. as per IGI film. Amanson and Julia lived in Butler Twp, Darke Co., OH., in 1850 as I have them in the census. They lived in Harrison Twp. Darke Co., OH., in 1860 as I have them in the census then too. Their children are : Henry C. b. 1838, Thomas M. (Maurice ?) b. 1840, Byram b. 1842 d. bef. 1860 census, Mary Elizabeth b. 1843, Susan M. b. 1845, James W. b. 1846, Emaline b. 1848, William H. b. 1849, Lucinda H. b. 1851, Lewis H. b. 1853, Serpha (female) b. 1854, Daniel b. 1855. All the children were born in OH.. Henry C. b. 1838 (above) moved about 1869 to Anderson, Madison Co., IN., with his family. Henry C. is my second gr-grandfather. Thank you !
