BENSON and had at least 2 sons with her, Charles B. who on 29-Apr-1901 married Maud L. WHITACRE, and Carl C, who on 20-Aug-1907 married Mary E. DUNKELBERGER. Henrietta and James moved to Fostoria, Ohio,where he had a medical practice and owned a hotel. Dr. FAHNESTOCK was also a vetern of the Civil War serving with Co. E 45th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Charles GREER, died 1966, buried in Darke Co., Bradford, Ohio. He had 11 children from a first marriage and 3 children from his second. Second marriage was to a Margaret HIERS, children; Kathrine (Kate) Charlene (Pete) Robert (Bob) GREER. I am looking for Christopher HOLZAPFEL who married Harriet RIMPLER on 20 Oct 1863. Christopher arrived in America in 1860 and found his way to OH and was married three yrs. later. Christopher and Harriet had (at least) three children: Emma who was 5 in the 1870 greenville darke co. census, John C who was 3 and Kate (aug) who was 9/12. In the 1900 census of German twp. Christopher is a wid. and is living with son Frank E and grdson Harry.
